About Us
Taijah Lamar is the visionary founder of Studio 210, driven by a lifelong commitment to providing equitable dance education for children of all backgrounds. With a BA in Dance and a minor in Global Studies from Belhaven University, Taijah has earned acclaim for her coaching of award-winning competition teams, leadership at collegiate dance conferences, and nomination for choreographer of the year at Platinum Dance Competition. Her choreography has graced stages for YAGP competitors, and she has enriched the community through extensive outreach program engagements in Jackson, MS.

Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Taijah Lamar is proficient in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, hip hop, modern, and acrobatics. Her mission with Studio 210 is to ensure an equal access to dance, fostering an inclusive space where every child can explore their artistic potential. She passionately advocates for creating a nurturing environment where children can freely express themselves and discover their voices through dance.
